Arms too short? Could ( gulp!) Reading Glasses help those maturing eyes?
Reading Glasses! Ok, you have been putting off this moment.
But the fact remains that the 8’s and 6’s are starting to look the same, and as for the newspaper print - the quality is nothing like it used to be.
“Yes but in out in the sunlight I can still see fine”
I know exactly what you mean.
Hi! I am Andrew Gay I have been an optometrist for 20 years.
At the age of 45 I face exactly the same challenges as you. I agree with you, reading glasses are a nuisance and I wish I didn’t have to wear them.
If we do have to wear them ( and I will be taking you through the other options) we should get the best type of visual correction to help us see clearly.
It’s not just about seeing clearly, it’s about looking good as well. I don’t know about you but I don’t feel 45 on the inside. We still want to look cool don’t we? So I’ll be giving you insider tips on the secret language of glasses – what your glasses are saying about you.
Reading glasses are also an extra expense. I’ll be giving you tips on when you are safe to buy the ready made magnifiers, when you can buy them on the net and when you should buy them from a bricks and mortar Optometrist.
Before we begin just a little about myself. I have owned my own retail optical practices for about 10 years, I have been involved in the wholesale side of the business for 3 years, I have been to the factories in China to see the manufacture of frames and I have designed my own frame range.
I also have 19 pairs of glasses ( Ok I got them for free), and I actually know what its like to have to wear them
I created the insider guide so you can become a consumer expert. From this guide you will learn:
1. What to look out for when buying glasses and what to avoid.
2. When to buy from a retailer/ internet/ chemist.
3. The truth about brands and how to save a fortune.
4. If eye exercises could help you
I've got all the facts on everything related to reading glasses, as well as a few secrets to share with you along the way. . .and I'm going to make the entire process simple, straightforward and fun!
So let's get started! I've designed the Insider Guide to Reading Glasses web site so you can simply point and click to go directly to the topic that you are interested in.
