Eye Exercises

Is it possible to do eye exercises to improve your vision?

There are two types of exercises.

1.Vision training

These are exercise programs designed to help your eyes work
better. Often these programs are designed by optometrists to train poor muscle coordination.

This type of training can be very effective.

Will it improve your eye sight so that you no longer need reading glasses?

The answer is no

2.Vision improvement exercises.

The programs are designed to actually change your eye prescription so that you no longer need to wear glasses.

Do they work?

The short answer to this question is no.

The long answer is much more intriguing and seems to be - yes.

If you have a “thing” about wearing reading glasses you could try pin hole specs.

They work on the principle of the pin hole effect.

If you eyes are out of focus the amount of blur you actually experience depend on the size of your pupils.

So if you artificially make your pupils smaller by looking through a tiny pin hole you will not experience much blur, in fact you will see quite clearly.

This is the reason why you can see quite well in really bright sunlight. Your pupils narrow down to pin holes in the sunshine.
