Folding Reading Glasses
Folding reading glasses are great "go any where glasses". They fit snugly into a pocket or bag. They are also known as pocket reading glasses. Generally they come with good cases, so they can more than hold their own against keys and coins. The lenses are generally bigger than tube readers so they can be used for general reading. They come as magnifiers of course, but many are also suitable for prescription lenses. My father had a much loved pair which he used for Bridge games. Some have quite ingenious folding arrangements that can be an endless source of fascination to children. Of course the child will want a “turn” at folding and unfolding. Better get a spare pair.
