They overcome the main problem with standard readers, which is the blurry distance vision when you look up into the distance through the lenses. Pop the glasses on the end of your nose and you will be able to read and look up. Brilliant! Apart from two little things. 1. They make you look stern Now if you need to project a bit of authority like Judge Judy, - fine. Most of us don’t.
Worse still if you need to establish equal, empathic, relationships with people they are a communications disaster. 2. They make you look old. Take a look at this guy. Cool black skivvy, hair loaded with product, edgy photography and grandpa glasses. It just spoils the look.
