Tube Reading Glasses

Tube reading glasses are a wonderful addition to your range of reading glasses. They slip easily into a shirt pocket or handbag. Some of them fit into cases that are not much thicker than a pen.

There are two types:

Ultra Slim

These have just a sliver of a lens. Not much area to read through but they really are no thicker than a mascara.

They are perfect for when you need to have a quick peek: Menu’s, till receipts, saturated fat content.

Forget about reading the newspaper over a leisurely cappuccino with a slim line version, you will find the field of view is just too small.

Slim

The slim version is show in the photograph above. The are a great compromise between bulk and usability.

My advice is to go for a rimless version. This will make reading easier as there will be no rim to get in the way.
